Quote for 12/8/08

"I like to compare the holiday season with the way a child listens to a favorite story. The pleasure is in the familiar way the story begins, the anticipation of familiar turns it takes, the familiar moments of suspense, and the familiar climax and ending."
Fred Rogers

Leave it to Mr. Rogers to come up with such an awesome anecdote...

I loved that man. He was very, very wise.
I'll never forget when we took the kids to the QED studios to watch a taping of his show and Juju got her head stuck between two rungs on a railing that overlooked the taping area.

Good old Mr. Rogers. I too loved him. Wasn't he a Canuk? I can just see him saying this as he;s putting one shoe and one sock on the same foot, then going to the other.

Wink,
I too was a big fan of Mr Rogers.
Raino,
Loved Mr Rogers. Hate to disappoint, but Fred Rogers was born in Latrobe, PA. I looked it up here.
Wink - again,
Not Pittsburgh, but close enough.
